I'm a college economics instructor and I'm here to help you learn the topics I love, economics and statistics. I am a 5-star rated tutor on Wyzant, with over 80 hours of tutoring through that site. I think economics and statistics can be easy and fun to learn if taught the right way. I help my students grasp the intuition behind the concepts, as well as master the techniques used in the models. My goal is to bridge the gap between common sense and the graphs and equations. An important part of higher-level economics and social sciences is empirical research, which means statistics and computer programming. Both of which an be fun and rewarding. I have M.A. and B.A. degrees in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science, all from UC Riverside. I've taught at both the university level and the community-college level (which I currently teach at). I have tutored AP Economics (high school), quantitative methods and statistics (undergraduate), as well as math and computer programming (graduate students).
